A passionate alteration specialist and fashion designer based in Renton, Washington. My love for fashion began in my hometown in Gambia, West Africa, where alterations were a big part of everyday style. It was there where I first learned the art of tailoring, which later inspired to pursue a BA in Fashion Design at Sanford Brown College.

Growing up, I was always captivated by the iconic outfits from American film, TV shows, and music videos–Beyoncé being one of my favorites! I would spend hours recreating those looks and the people around me recognized my love for fashion. This passion ultimately led me to where I am today–empowering others to feel confident in their wardrobe. I spent years refining my skills and creating unique garments while working in high-end tailoring shops and specialty alteration services before officially opening Sinyan’s Alterations in 2022.
